La Estación del Amor
por Flavia Cosma
Traducción de María Cristina Azcona

Luz calma
Al amanecer
Disipa suave
Las sombras de la noche

Los objetos en grises y azules
Se desperezan.
La sustancia vuelve a ser lo que es
En esencia.
La vida renace desde las olas.

Sucumbe y se rinde la imperfección
Maravillados, volvemos a ser nosotros
Completos y hermosos,
Plenos de gracia.

La paz nos rodea
Con grandes alas de abuela.
Nos reflejamos cálidos
En nuestros enemigos.

Con brazos amorosos
Queremos suavizar su rígida expresión
Y unir los vuelos breves y cansados
En sedosos, plateados viajes...
En mañanas pías
En este joven invierno

The Season of Love
by Flavia Cosma

Calm light
Early in the morning
Gently melts
The shadows of the night.

Objects, gray and blue forms,
Are jolted from sleep;
Substance returns to itself;
Daily life rises from the waves.

Imperfection recedes, yields;
Awed, we find ourselves again,
Complete and beautiful,
Filled with grace.

Peace surrounds us
With a grandmother's wings.
We reflect tenderly
On our fiercest enemies.

With willowy arms
We want to smooth their wrinkled, rough brows
And gather the tired, shortened flight
Into silky, silvery laps
Of the pious mornings
Of the young winter.
